Thank you for visiting the Nexus Home Care Project website, allowing us to share with you some of the work that our team has produced since the inception of the project in 2005.
We encourage you to review some of recent published findings in the International Journal of Ageing and Later Life, the Journal of Applied Gerontology and Home Health Care Services Quarterly. In the coming months we will be writing and focusing on the following topics: Canadian Social Policy, Key Informant Perspectives, Safety in Home Care, and Inter-provincial Comparisons (using data collected in British Columbia, Ontario and Nova Scotia).
Our team has also had a busy conference season. Members of our team presented at: the Canadian Association on Gerontology's annual scientific meeting in Ottawa, Ontario; the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics Asia/Oceania Regional Congress in Melbourne, Australia, and at the Centre for Social Gerontology at Keele University in the United Kingdom.
